National Financial Awareness Day: Let's talk money, honey!
Maybe you’re like most people and have no idea how the “credit system” works, or care. However, even rentals look at your credit to decide if you are eligible to rent their space. The same happens with a bank/lender, when you try to buy a house. They look at several conditions and decide if your ready to buy.
Start Here:
Step 1
Rough Credit: If you know credit is going to need some work, reach out to CreditNerds in Paragould. Tell them you were referred by Jennifer Delong and you’d like her to be notified, when your credit is ready to submit for a loan application. They will help you adjust your credit towards your goals, and then we go to step 2:
Good Credit: Above 580 > go to Step 2.
Step 2
Find a lending institution. There are online sources like RocketMortgage that does everything online, using the Realtor of your choice. Online is great and totally acceptable, but may I suggest looking locally, Sometimes it’s just easier to know you can reach someone local if need be.
